The Birth of Tiki is an original fully black light body painted dance and theater show written by Rachel DeBoer. The show is an interpretation of the relationship betwen one Ancient Hawaiian carver (Kahuna Kalai) and 4 major Akua (gods) in the Hawaiian sacred mythology: Kane, Ku, Kanaloa, and Lono. The Birth of Tiki is an exciting and unique addition to Hawaiian theater with a surrealistic cirque style. Rachel intends to present a deeper understanding of the Hawaiian culture through modern day theatrical skills and the power of black light body painting.
Birth of Tiki is the beginning
